The Limar Helmet that saved my life

I was involved in an accident on my bike on Tuesday 20/11 and my new Limar helmet that I was wearing is the only reason I can email you now.  I brought the helmet into your shop on Saturday morning to show your staff the extent of damage to the helmet and the lack of damage to me.  I have attached some photos of the helmet.

I thought that you might like to use this proof of the effectiveness of helmets to influence the behaviour of other bike riders who come into your shop and also that Limar would be interested in this good news story involving their product.

A brief description of the accident is as follows.  I was cycling home from work when a car exited from a blind entrance from an underbuilding carpark.  I saw the vehicle coming out with little distance to react, so on hitting the brakes hard the bike stopped but tumbled forward end for end with me ending up on the ground. Unfortunately the car driver had all his concentration on entering the traffic flow and failed to see me or see me fall.  He continued forward at low speed and his rear tyre ran over my head.  He was not aware of my presence until he heard the helmet crushing. 

Miraculously I suffered only minor head trauma and 5 days later I am almost completely recovered.  I had replaced my old helmet at your shop with the new Limar 907 only 19 days before and my escape can only be attributed to good luck and a superb performance ‘under pressure’ of my new helmet.
