Bike Force History

Bike Force Australia was established in 1991, when two stores began trading in Subiaco and Woodvale.

These stores were soon re-located to larger premises with the aim of offering customers the best selection of quality bicycles, parts, accessories and back-up support to keep them running to perfection – all at competitive prices.

Bike Force had opened another 11 stores in Western Australia.

2005 - 2006

In November 2005 the first interstate store was opened in Queensland.

July 2007 saw the first of 3 stores opened in Victoria.

With the Bike Force Head Office relocating from Perth to Melbourne, the group was able to receive impressive buying power and deals from East coast suppliers, solidifying the franchise group in the industry.

Bike Force now had up to 22 stores Australia wide and was the largest Bicycle Retailer in Australia. This impressive feat was achieved by combining the right mix of people with the right skills and knowledge to uphold the highest standards of industry expertise.

In 2016, Bike Force was sold off as a franchise model, with the core company owned stores retained by the franchisor, and the rest of the stores gaining their independence.

Our company stores have bigger ranges, better deals and friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Looking Ahead

The Bicycle Industry has certainly seen it's share of changes and turbulence. From greasy workshops, to plugging your Di2 bike in for a software update - the introduction of new technology every single year has seen the industry move forward at a steam train rate.

Whilst the industry models may change and evolve, it is impossible to remove the spark in people that riding a bike makes them feel alive and free.

We are excited to see what's ahead in the industry and to be a part of it all.
